Research

The Centre for Research in Social Justice and Social Inclusion at the University of Hull has been commissioned to synthesise all the research over the past ten years relating to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in Yorkshire and Humber. Email if able to assist with published or unpublished material, including grey literature and case studies.

HM Chief Inspector of Prisons has published a Report on a full announced inspection of Tinsley House Immigration Removal Centre carried out in March 2008. It follows a similar report published last week on an inspection of Yarl’s Wood Immigration Removal Centre. See also BBC coverage and NCADC commentary
